Diogo Dalot has signed a new deal with the club until June 2028, with a one-year extension option.
Dalot has had a solid season under new United coach Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman has been eager to complete a transfer for the Portugal international. Dalot is mostly a right full-back but can also play on the left side.
After months of negotiating with the player and his advisors, United have reached an agreement. Now, Dalot has finally signed on the dotted line to extend his contract beyond next summer. The original contract was set to expire in 2023. But United used a one-year extension option in the contract to allow them more time to secure a long-term arrangement.
