Nevertheless, it was the youngster’s post-game celebration that had Manchester United supporters rooting for him on social media. Garnacho mimicked Barcelona player Pedri Gonzalez’s characteristic celebration by cupping his hands over his eyes.
Pedri left the pitch to miss the encounter on Thursday due to a right hamstring injury suffered in the first leg of the game last week.
