Marcus Rashford MBE of Manchester United is the Premier League Player of the Month for January 2023.
Rashford won the award in September as well and has been a key player for United ever since, scoring 18 goals and providing eight assists in 31 games across all competitions this season.
Rashford scored three goals in four Premier League games in January, earning him Player of the Month for the second time this season and the third time in his career.
He began the month with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth before completing a famous United comeback in the Manchester derby against Pep Guardiola’s City with an 82nd-minute winner to seal all three points.
Marcus Rashford MBE begun January with a screamer in a 3-2 loss to Arsenal, which is also the nomination for the month’s Best Goal award after failing to score against Crystal Palace.
Rashford beat out Newcastle’s Dan Burn, Nottingham Forest’s Brennan Johnson, City’s Riyad Mahrez, Brighton’s Solly March, Brentford’s David Raya, and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka on a seven-man shortlist.
United fans will be hoping that Rashford can keep up his form in February, which begins with another game against Palace on February 4.
The Red Devils will also face Leeds United and Leicester City before finishing the month in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United.
