Saka, the English Young Forward has won EA SPORTS Player of the Month for the first time in his career.
Bukayo Saka has been named the Premier League Player of the Month.
The Arsenal team posted a tweet its congratulations to Saka. Bukayo Saka is essential to the team’s quest for Premier League supremacy this season.
He was fine form as his team won four of their league games in March, with the help of Arteta. He contributed two assists and three goals.
Saka is the second Arsenal player to win the award this year after Martin Odegaard. Odegaard won it jointly in November and December. This is Saka’s first time taking home the honor.
Arteta is named as the Manager of the Month for the fourth time in 2022-2023. He has previously won in August, November/December, and January.
The Spaniard follows in the footsteps of former boss Pep Guardiola (four times in 2017–18) and Jurgen Klopp by becoming just the third manager in history to win the trophy four times in a single season (five times in 2019-20).
Saka is the 22nd player in Arsenal history to win Premier League Player of the Month. It is the most by any team in the history of the English top division.
Saka won the EPL POTM for the first time
The 21-year-old opened the scoring and set up Gabriel Martinelli for the second goal in their 4-0 victory over Everton at the beginning of March.
Saka now has double digits in goals and assists in the Premier League this season after scoring twice in Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the Emirates and setting up another goal for Martinelli.
Leandro Trossard, an Arsenal teammate, was also a nominee for the award after recording five assists in March.
Tyrone Mings of Aston Villa, Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton, Mo Salah of Liverpool, and Alexander Isak of Newcastle were also on the list.
Saturday’s home game between Arsenal and Leeds United marks the beginning of April.
