Oscar Bobb has signed a new five-year contract that will keep him at Manchester City until the summer of 2029.
The 20-year-old Norwegian forward has made 16 appearances for City this season, scoring twice for Pep Guardiola’s side, including a last-minute Premier League winner against Newcastle.
His prior contract with the team was going to end in June 2026.
“It’s an incredible environment and the best possible place to be for a young player,” Bobb went on to say.
Oscar Bobb joined City from Valerenga in 2019, making his international debut in October.
He thanked Pep, his coaching staff, and his teammates for their guidance.
“Knowing that I’ll remain here at the club until 2029 means everything to me.
“Now I just want to focus on continuing to further my development.”

The attacking midfielder joined City’s junior ranks from Norwegian club Valerenga in the summer of 2019. Before being added to the first team last summer, he had four outstanding seasons at our Academy.
Since then, the 20-year-old has advanced significantly in his career, earning his Premier division and Champions League debuts and scoring his first club goals in both division.
Additionally, Bobb was a member of the City team that won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup in the latter half of 2023.
The Norwegian international has made a total of 16 appearances this season across all competitions. He has also contributed two assists and two goals.
