Abdullah Almutairi, the former Nepali National Football Team coach is the best coach of the year 2078 B.S. He awarded as the best in the NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards-2078.
During a program on Tuesday, he named as best coach of the year. Volleyball’s Jagdish Prasad Bhatt, Boxing’s Deepak Maharjan, Para-Kaviraj Taekwondo’s Negi Lama, and Cricket’s Dave Whatmore were among the nominees for best coach of the year.
Almutairi, who took Nepal to the third round of the Asia Cup qualifications for the first time, surpassed them to win the greatest coach of the year. Similarly, under his guidance, Nepal reached the SAFF Championship final for the first time.

Abdullah Al Mutairi is a Kuwaiti football manager who is in charge of the Nepal men’s national team. He is also the head coach of Nepal’s men’s national football team for the FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament in 2022. (AFC). He has handled in Nepal as well as Kuwait.

He declared his intention to quit on July 25, 2021, alleging internal politics on social media. According to Abdullah Al Mutairi’s proposal, the All Nepal Football Association has requested that the Youth and Sports Ministry launch an inquiry. He guided Nepal’s men’s national football team to the SAFF Championship final, when they were defeated by India.
