adidas and Italy are working on a special edition uniform to commemorate the national team’s 125th anniversary. Italy will play Spain in the UEFA Nations League semifinals while donning the stunning new white and gold outfit. They match will be playing on June 15th on De Grolsch Veste (FC Twente Ground), Netherlands.

Italy will wear a throwback uniform in Thursday’s Nations League match against Spain to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the formation of the Italian Football Federation.

The adidas design is the inpiration by the Italians’ first international appearance in 1910, when they defeated France 6-2.

The costume concludes off with a white shirt, shorts, and black socks, all of which have gold accents.

“With an iconic jersey rooted in history and modernity, we are celebrating the FIGC’s 125th anniversary.”
“Thanks to our relationship with adidas.”
Italian FA president Gabriele Gravina stated in the anniversary program.

“The anniversary kit perfectly embodies our vision for the development of soccer — values and deep roots form the foundation of a movement that embraces change and looks to the future without reservation.”

“What’s more, it’s especially significant that the national team is honoring the federation’s birthday, as it represents the pinnacle of a broad and articulated system in which over one million card-carrying members identify themselves.”

The limited edition kit, like home and away collections came in January, “I am confident will be a huge success.”

The winner of the Nations League semi-finals will face either the Netherlands or Croatia in the final on Sunday.

The kit is available online, at adidas shops, on the FIGC website, and through a few authorized merchants.

The Italy 125th Anniversary uniform will be available on June 14 at adidas.
