Ajax has rejected West Ham United’s second proposal for midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

Mohammed Kudus: West Ham’s second bid for Ajax winger Konstantinos Mavropanos got rejection.

The bid for Kudus may worth €42 million (£35.4 million). West Ham remains interested and will consider returning with a better offer.

Kudus is willing to relocate to the London Stadium.

Ajax does not want to sell, and Kudus has started both Eredivisie games for the Dutch club this season, scoring in the first and assisting in the second.

Kudus, a Ghanaian international who played in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has entered the final two years of his contract.Meanwhile, West Ham have begun negotiations with Sevilla to acquire forward Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Moroccan international, whose contract is about to expire, is still waiting for a formal offer.
