According to L’Équipe, Al Ahli has made a €12 million bid for Thiago, a former Barcelona and Bayern Munich midfielder. Just a few hours ago, the proposal came out.
According to L’Équipe journalist Loc Tanzi, the offensive could mark the end of Al Ahli’s pursuit of Marco Verratti (31). According to RMC Sport, the Italian international has been notified by the club that he is surplus to needs, and he has been the subject of proposals from the Gulf State. However, European teams are now displaying renewed interest in Verratti after a meeting with Luis Campos and Luis Enrique, during which he was told to find a new club.
Fabrizio Romano, in response to L’Équipe’s claim, has since denied the existence of conversations between Thiago and Al Ahli. The athlete has previously rejected down many offers from Saudi Arabia this summer, according to the Italian journalist.
