Alejandro Balde will stay at Barcelona until 2028.

FC Barcelona has officially announced that emerging talent Alejandro Balde has signed a new long-term contract extension with the club, extending his stay until the summer of 2028.
“FC Barcelona and player Alejandro Balde have agreed on a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2028.” “The buy-out clause is set at 1 billion euros,” the club said in an official statement.
According to the club, Balde’s new contract extends until the summer of 2028 and has a €1 billion release clause.
The club has stated that the formal signing and presentation of the new contract will take place tomorrow afternoon.
Balde, a product of the La Masia youth system, made his first-team debut under Ronald Koeman.
However, it was during the 2022/23 season that he truly blossomed, establishing himself as Xavi Hernandez’s first-choice left-back and knocking Jordi Alba out of the lineup.
Balde has recently grown in stature and is now a regular in the Spanish national squad.
A new contract for the 19-year-old has been in the works for some time, and an agreement was made before to the pre-season tour of the United States.
Manchester City was also keeping high interest in singing the teenage left-back. However, he eventually signed a new contract with Barcelona until 2028.
Balde initially appeared as a first-team player this summer. Due to the previous agreement on the new deal, the club even gave him the No. 3 jersey.
