Alessandro Bastoni has signed a new deal with Inter Milan, committing his future to the club until the end of June 2028.

Alessandro Bastoni signed new contract with inter

Inter Milan has verified this in an official statement. The Nerazzurri have made extending Bastoni’s contract a top goal.

The 24-year-old’s previous contract will expire at the end of next June. However, the Nerazzurri intended to ensure his future much before that.

It was also speculated that if Bastoni did not sign a new contract, he would be a target for Manchester City, PSG, and Juventus.

The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, have made certain that the Italian international will not be lost. They’ve signed him to a new five-year contract.

The duration of the contract reflects the importance of Bastoni to Inter’s project. Last season, the Italian international was a major figure in the Nerazzurri’s route to the Champions League final.

Alessandro Bastoni: Inter Milan’s Key Player

Bastoni has established himself as an important player for Inter during the last four seasons.

Under Antonio Conte, the former Parma and Atalanta man has already established himself as a key part in the 2019-20 season. Despite the fact that he was just nineteen when the season began.

That season, Bastoni started for Inter in the Europa League final against Sevilla.

The next season, in his second season with the Nerazzurri, Bastoni helped the squad win the Serie A title under Conte.

Bastoni has been just as crucial for Inter Simone Inzaghi as he had been for Conte.

Last season, the 24-year-old made the most appearances in a single season for Inter, with 47 in all competitions.

Bastoni’s defensive qualities are a cornerstone of Inzaghi’s Inter. But so is his ability with the ball, with his feet, and with the pass.

Inzaghi has given Bastoni permission to make driving runs and risky crosses into the box.
