Since Filippo Inzaghi in 2000, Juve had not scored a hat-trick in an away EU event. This furthers the Old Lady’s miserable season, which has already seen them lose 15 Serie A points for financial infractions.
Roma is a different Italian club that Juve is joined in the round of 16 by, who won their match against Red Bull Salzburg 2-0 in the second leg to advance 2-1 overall.
