Arsenal close in on £20m Jakub Kiwior transfer with Spezia & Poland defender set for medical.

The Gunners are in advanced talks with Serie A sideĀ Spezia over the 22-year-old

Arsenal are about to sign Poland international Jakub Kiwior from Spezia in a €20 million deal.

The 22-year-old centre-back will provide depth behind Gabriel Magalhaes, who has been covering the left side on his own this season.

According to Polish journalist Tomasz Wodarczyk, his contract will last five and a half years, and Juventus, Napoli, and AC Milan are all keeping tabs on him.

We don’t know much about Kiwior other than the fact that he has represented his country at every level and will be moving to Italy in August 2021.

He has played in 43 Spezia matches and all but three minutes of his country’s four World Cup matches.

The Gunners expecting to sign France international Evan Ndicka on a free transfer next summer, but it appears that we have chosen a different path.

Arsenal made announcement over Leandro Trossard sign. Kiwior appears to be the second piece of business we’ll do in January.
