Barcelona to wear special 'Rolling Stones' jersey for El Clasico

Following Drake and Rosala’s debuts on the front of Barcelona’s shirts during matches last season, it looks that the renowned rock band ‘The Rolling Stones’ will be next.

According to RAC1, Barcelona will wear a unique shirt with a Rolling Stones graphic on the front for the forthcoming El Clasico versus Real Madrid in October.

Barcelona will wear shirts with logos and emblems of prominent music artists as part of an arrangement with key shirt sponsors Spotify.

For the first El Clasico of the 2022/23 season in October last year, the Blaugrana wore the jersey with the OVO emblem of internationally known rapper and singer Drake.

Following that, a limited-edition kit with artwork from the album “Motomami” by Spanish singer-songwriter Rosala became accessible to the second El Clasico of the previous season in March of this year.

For the third time, the La Liga champions will wear a logo depicting the renowned British band ‘The Rolling Stones’ for the Clasico, which will take place on October 28/29.

The new Hackneys Diamonds album will be released globally on October 20, one week before the match. The Catalan behemoths and Spotify are trying to profit on this fact.

Barcelona is reportedly close to settling the details of the agreement with the Rolling Stones before making an official announcement.

The Rolling Stones’ logo will replace the Spotify logo on the front and center of the Barcelona shirt, like it did on Drake and Rosalia jerseys.

As soon as an official announcement arrives, more details will be available.
