Benfica rejected Liverpool’s €100 million bid for midfielder Enzo Fernandez yesterday.

Benfica rejected Liverpool’s offer of almost €100 million for Enzo Hernandez. They responded that it only sells for the release clause.

Liverpool is interested in signing the 21-year-old midfielder who helped Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar.

It was even claimed at one point that Liverpool had a pre-contract agreement with the player that would see him move to Anfield next summer.

Benfica turned down a €100 million offer for the World Cup’s Young Player of the Tournament. But they are still holding out for the reported release clause of €120 million.
