Brighton FC to acquire the Ghanaian forward

Brighton FC to sign Osman for €19.5 million from FC Nordsjaelland

Brighton & Hove Albion (Brighton FC) have agreed a deal with Nordsjaelland to recruit sought-after attacker Ibrahim Osman.

Many teams showed interest in the 19-year-old forward from Ghana. However, Brighton has now secured an agreement with Osman, who will arrive in the summer.

They have had an offer of roughly €19.5 million accepted by Danish top-flight side Nordsjaelland. Osman has had a physical before the move is formally finalized.

Osman has made 27 appearances for Nordsjaelland, making his first-team debut last season and scoring twice.

The attacker made his senior debut for Nordsjaelland in February 2023, after joining from Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy.

Osman is on the same road as Brighton’s Ivorian forward Simon Adingra, who joined the south coast club after beginning his career at the Right to Dream Academy before going to Nordsjaelland.

Brighton signed Argentine left-back Valentin Barco from Boca Juniors and winger Adrian Mazilu from Romanian club FCV Varul during the January transfer window.
