Bukayo Saka is in process to sign a new contract with Arsenal that will make him the club’s highest-paid player on up to £15,000,000 annually.
The 21-year-old England international has been in negotiations with the club for over a year and is finally ready to sign a contract.
And the arrangement would more than treble his present weekly wage of £70,000, making him the club’s highest paid player.
He will leapfrog striking forward Gabriel Jesus in the Emirates pecking order after the Brazilian striker committed to a £250,000-a-week contract when he arrived for £45 million from Manchester City last summer.
Both manager Mikel Arteta and sports director Edu wanted to reward Saka’s performances with a contract that reflected his role as the team’s most important player.
A compromise is eventually is obligation since last month after conversations to iron out the last few details of various incentive payments. Despite the new huge deal, he will not get salary nearly as much as Mesut Ozil, whose £350,000-per-week contract make him the club’s highest-paid player ever.

With double digits in both goals (12) and assists (10) in the Premier League, he is having his greatest season to date. He has helped propel Arsenal to the top of the standings as they attempt to capture the league title for the first time since 2004.
