City players to receive a large bonus if they win the treble

City Players will earn seven-figure bonuses if they win the treble, far more than some of their teammates.

Pep Guardiola’s team moved closer to the historic feat. They just defeated Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium to reach their second Champions League final in three seasons. The Premier League may be completed this weekend, with the FA Cup final following in a few weeks.

City may become only the second English team to win the historic triple. It will be the following in the footsteps of Manchester United in 1999. Instead of the customary approach of dividing a pot of money among the players, squad members at the club have tailored bonuses incorporated into their contracts.

Top achievers will be paid more to reflect their importance and accomplishments. Kevin De Bruyne’s previous deal included a £1 million bonus. But he has subsequently accepted enhanced terms that might result in a larger bonus. According to the Telegraph, other celebrities are likely to get a similar sum.

Those individuals might still hope to receive between £500,000 and £1,000,000 if City achieve the treble in the coming weeks. If Manchester United defeat Inter Milan in Istanbul on June 10, they will get €20 million in addition to the bonuses they have already received for reaching the final.

When asked if he could win the triple, Guardiola said, “Let me win the first two.” We are quite close in the Premier League. We know we need one more game, and I believe we will face our rivals [Manchester United] and an Italian team [Internazionale] in the finals.

“The season has been fantastic; now we must build on it.” We’re almost there, and we’re going to try. We’re there, we can think about it, and we can see it. We’re only three games away. We can win one of the tournaments.”
