FC Barcelona will continue to work with 1xBet, a global sports organisation with considerable influence in global betting markets and a chequered past, for the time being. The club, which has seen a decline in net revenue, has replaced the British betting exchange Betfair with 1xBet, one of the most valuable relationship prospects, which contributes close to $10 million yearly.
With the signing of a new sponsorship agreement, 1XBET will serve as the Club’s Global Partner for the ensuing five seasons, up until June 30, 2024.
The agreement, which takes effect, is a component of the Club’s strategy for global expansion and also relates to its goal of finding the best partners in various categories to support it in maintaining its top position not only on the playing field but also in terms of sports sponsorship and marketing.
As a result of this arrangement, FC Barcelona and 1XBET will collaborate on various activities using a variety of resources, including access to the players to develop marketing materials.
Josep Pont, a director and the head of FC Barcelona’s commercial area, made the following statement:
“We are certain that our partnership with 1XBET will support our growth both on and off the field. This agreement solidifies our plan for international growth, and we are confident that it will enable us to reach more sports lovers globally.
