Mohammed Salisu 2 goals lead to victory for African side over South Korea

In the 24th minute, Mohammed Salisu scored from close range after South Korea failed to clear a free kick, and Mohammed Kudus added a second with a glancing header to give Ghana a 2-0 halftime lead.

South Korea, on the other hand, roared back with two daring Cho Gue-sung headers three minutes apart to square the seesaw affair.

Kudus scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute after going away in the penalty area and tapping past a diving Kim Seung-gyu.

Ghana, the tournament’s lowest-ranked squad, joined Portugal at the top of the group standings on three points, with Uruguay and South Korea on one. Portugal and Uruguay play later in the day on Monday.
