Haaland has been named Premier League Player of the Month for the month of April.
The City striker appeared in four matches during the month, winning all four, scoring six goals and giving two assists.
Haaland, who also received the accolade in August, scored his 50th goal in all competitions this season, tying Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer’s Premier League record of 34 goals, which he has since surpassed.
“I am really happy to win this award for the second time this season.”
“I am grateful to everyone who voted for me,” Haaland remarked.
“We’re in such an important part of the season, and winning all of our Premier League games in April was crucial.”
I’m thrilled to have contributed to the team’s success by scoring goals, and we simply need to keep going till the conclusion.
“Breaking the Premier League record for most goals scored in a season is something I am very proud of.”
“But none of it would have been possible without all of my teammates, coaches, and support staff.”
“Hopefully, we can maintain our strong form until the end of the season and please our fans.”
Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)
Alexander Isak (Newcastle United)
Diogo Jota (Liverpool)
Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth)
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and
Callum Wilson (Newcastle United) were also nominated for the April award.
