Hakim Ziyech is reportedly close to leaving Chelsea after the Blues secured a deal in principle with Galatasaray.

Hakim Ziyech is set to FINALLY leave Chelsea

Chelsea are approaching the deal with care, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. Hakim Ziyech is scheduled to get a medical exam. But a few issues still need to be worked out in the details.

Given Ziyech’s close calls on two recent deals, Chelsea’s hesitation is understandable.

The Moroccan star appeared to be on his way to PSG on loan in January. However, the deal fell through on deadline day, with the French club accusing Chelsea of giving them unsigned documents twice to torpedo the deal.

Ziyech was close to signing with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr earlier this summer. His annual salary would have been £9 million net.

However, the contract fell through after a knee injury was discovered during his medical.

As he gets closer to joining Galatasaray, it could be a case of third time lucky for Ziyech.

Hakim Ziyech may join Galatasaray soon

The 30-year-old joined Chelsea in 2020, but his Premier League career has stalled.

Ziyech has scored 14 goals in 107 appearances for the west London club.

Last season, he slid down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, appearing in just 18 league games as Chelsea finished 12th.

He was left out of the team for Chelsea’s season opener against Liverpool on Sunday, and his time at the club appears to be coming to an end.

After two unsuccessful deals, Hakim Ziyech is set to depart Chelsea… with the winger ‘going to Galatasaray for a medical after they agreed an agreement in principle with the Blues’.
