Hamza Choudhury pens new contract with Leicester City

The Foxes academy graduate, 25, has 91 first-team appearances for the club since making his debut in the Carabao Cup in 2017.

Choudhury, who won the FA Cup with Leicester in 2021, spent last season on loan at Watford, who did not exercise their option to purchase him.

“I’m excited to get started,” Choudhury said on the club’s website.

“It’s a wonderful feeling for me and my family.” This is my residence.

“I’ve obviously spent the majority of my life here around the same people in the same environment.”

Hamza Choudhury has appeared seven times for Enzo Maresca’s Foxes this season in all competitions.

He has only started one Championship game so far, but he has played in both of their Carabao Cup victories, against League One Burton Albion and League Two Tranmere Rovers.
