Harry Kane said 'YES' to FC Bayern Munich move

During a covert meeting with Thomas Tuchel in May, Harry Kane granted the go-ahead for a move to Bayern Munich.

Kane making his way to The Bavarians Army

Tuchel was in London in mid-May and saw Kane at his house for talks, according to Sport Bild. The Tottenham striker was impressed with Bayern’s coach and expressed his desire to join his club. Kane also stated that his biggest incentive for leaving Spurs would be to compete for the Champions League with Bayern Munich. After failing to win any silverware at Tottenham, the striker’s “biggest dream” is to capture the European Cup.

Bayern has already had a £60 million ($77 million/€69 million) deal for Kane rejected by Spurs, but they are set to return with a fresh and stronger offer for the England captain. Tottenham is expected to want at least £100 million ($127 million/€116 million) for their all-time leading scorer.

Tottenham are known to be difficult negotiators, but Kane is eager to attempt to force a move this summer. If chairman Daniel Levy refuses to accept proposals in this window, the striker might threaten to leave Spurs on a free transfer when his contract ends in 2024.

Tottenham will begin their pre-season trip in mid-July. Spurs will go to Australia to play West Ham, Leicester to Thailand, and Roma to Singapore.

Yaya Toure believes Harry Kane should finish his career with Tottenham

Yaya Toure has encouraged Harry that he should stay at Tottenham Hotspur for the rest of his career.

The England captain’s future has been heavily scrutinized this summer. The English forward frequently linked with moves to Manchester United or Bayern Munich.

Kane is in the final year of his contract. Therefore, Spurs are certain that they will not trade their star player. Toure also believes Kane should finish his career with his childhood club.

It goes without saying that the season did not go as planned, but I can only appreciate the fans for their unwavering support throughout the year.

“Harry Kane is a brilliant player and a brilliant leader,” the 40-year-old, who just accepted a coaching position with Standard Liege, told the PA news agency.

“From my perspective, I hope he stays at Tottenham.” He performed an amazing job last season.

“I hope he stays; from my involvement with the staff, I can see how familiar they are; they all believe in each other.”
