Karim Benzema nearly to exit from Madrid

Benzema’s contract with Real Madrid ends at the end of the season. He is now likely to sign a new one. According to recent rumours, the Frenchman has received a hefty €200 million offer from Saudi Arabia and is considering departing.

The offer is valid for two years and includes additional privileges. Such as image rights, advertising, and the opportunity to establish schools for children in his name are included.

Furthermore, his poor performance this season has cast doubt on the administration and coaching staff’s dedication to the team.

There have been several conflicting rumours regarding Benzema and Madrid’s ambitions to add a striker this summer. Some have speculated that they are preparing to relaunch their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe, despite the fact that the Frenchman has said that he would remain at PSG next season.

There has also been news about Harry Kane, with Carlo Ancelotti suggesting that he wants to make the Englishman a priority for next summer.

On the other hand, there have been speculations that Madrid completely trusts Benzema and will not sign a’superstar’ this summer. They think the striker will perform at his best if they add reinforcements in other areas to the team.

Karim Benzema with Los Blancos

In 2009, Lyon native Benzema joined the 14-time European champions and went to collect several accolades in the Spanish capital.

Despite losing time due to injury, the Frenchman has 30 goals and six assists in 42 games in all competitions.

Benzema is Los Blancos’ second-highest goal-scorer of all time, after only Ronaldo.

Last year, the 35-year-old attacker beat out Sadio Mane and Kevin de Bruyne to win the coveted award after helping Real Madrid to the Champions League victory.

Benzema is considered a strong candidate for the Ballon d’Or trophy in 2023, with national teammate Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Lionel Messi.
