Khadag Prasad Gauchan Memorial!

Khadag Prasad Gauchan Memorial is starting from February 15th. The fifth U-19 national cricket tournament is helding in memory of Shakti Gauchan’s late father, Khadagprasad Gauchan. Gauchan announced at a press conference in Butwal on Sunday that the tournament. The tournament prepatation which is going to play on February 1st at the Devdah Cricket Ground, is over.

This year, Rupandehi’s Devdah Cricket Unit, Star Cricket Academy, Kashi Nobel Academy, Kaski’s Center Cricket Academy, Kathmandu’s Cricket Excellence Center, Madan Bhandari Sports Academy (Provincial Team), New Horizon Sports Club, and Dhangadhi Cricket Academy likely to get into two groups while dividing. There will be 15 matches between the two groups, with 3-3 ties in league matches.

He stated that the tournament’s league matches will be of 25 overs and the finals will be of 40 overs. He stated that he is holding a competition. In that compition one player can participate in at least ten leagues in the district covering various age groups.

He claimed that junior cricket is still being in developing process and played in Rupandehi, which has established itself as such. A shield and Rs 30,000 will be giving to the fifth-place finisher. On Monday, the first game will feature Devdah Cricket Unit and Kashi Noble Academy.
