Kylian Mbappe: Update over forward decision at the club

Kylian Mbappe is in contract talks with Paris Saint-Germain. When his contract expires next summer, the 24-year-old will continue to play for the Ligue 1 team and not leave on a free transfer.

Mbappe’s choices include signing a one-year contract extension option in his existing term until 2025 or signing a new contract.

Real Madrid has been extensively linked to the France forward. However, the manager Carlo Ancelotti said on Thursday that it will not happen.

“I absolutely rule it out,” he remarked. I believe our team is closed, and our players are focused on the upcoming season.”

Mbappe was dropped from PSG’s summer tour of Japan and South Korea last month after informing the club that he intended to leave on a free transfer the following summer.

PSG thought he had agreed to join Real Madrid as a free agent at the conclusion of the season. He may also accept a world-record £258 million (€300 million) offer for Mbappe from Al Hilal in July. However, the player was not interested.

Kylian Mbappe was allowed to train with the first-team squad again 11 days ago after indicating his commitment to the club, and he scored in a 1-1 draw at Toulouse on Saturday.

PSG has refused to comment.
