Official Announcement from LaLiga

La Liga, Spain’s top-level football competition that has fought for stronger control of European teams, has demanded for urgent punishment against Italy’s Juventus Football Club SpA following a sudden board revamp last night due to a financial conflict.

According to those familiar with the issue, LaLiga Santander will request that the sport’s European governing body, UEFA, and Italy’s Serie A league promptly apply sanctions such as point deductions or financial limits.

As per a document seen by the Spanish league, which has previously fought with other European teams such as the United Kingdom’s Manchester City Football Club Ltd and France’s Paris Saint Germain, protested to the sport’s authorities about Juventus earlier this year.

According to the paper, the league is concerned that the Italian club may be disguising the exact salary cost agreed upon with players by accounting for outgoing transfers of players at over market value.

FC Barcelona, one of Spain’s top clubs, has been selling off a portion of its stake in some economic ventures and media rights in order to obtain finances to purchase players and pay their wages in accordance with the rules.
