Manuel Locatelli has agreed to terms with Juventus on a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who was a member of Italy’s Euro 2020 winning squad, initially joined the Bianconeri in 2021 on a loan deal with an option to buy from Sassuolo, which was reported to have cost Juve 35 million euros (£30.5m).
“This signature until 2028 is a dream come true that is still ongoing,” the club said in a statement. It’s another promise he made to himself and to Juventus.”
Locatelli, a lifelong Juventus supporter, began his professional career with AC Milan after rising through the Atalanta youth ranks.
He initially joined Sassuolo on loan before making the move permanent in 2019.
