Matheus Nunes Transfer Updates

Man City will pay more than £53 million for Matheus Nunes’ transfer; City youngster Tommy Doyle will join Wolves on an initial loan with a £4.3 million (€5 million) option and a large sell-on clause; Chelsea have inquired about signing City’s Cole Palmer.
Manchester City and Wolves have agreed a £53 million transfer fee for midfielder Matheus Nunes.
The fee is more than the £47m verbally agreed on Wednesday, setting a new club record for Wolves.
Man City will pay more than originally announced, but on a different schedule.
There are no add-ons other than a 10% sell-on charge on any future profit City makes on Nunes.
Nunes is being given permission to travel to Manchester for a medical examination, and the paperwork is currently in its final stages of agreement.
Last summer, Wolves paid Sporting Lisbon a club record £42 million to sign the Portugal international.
Tommy Doyle, 21, will have a medical at Wolves ahead of a season-long loan with a £4.3 million (€5 million) buyout option.
City would retain a 50% sell-on fee if Wolves made a profit on the midfielder.
