Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has set a €500 million price tag for striker Victor Osimhen (24).

This past season, the Nigerian international was perhaps Europe’s finest center-forward, scoring 31 goals in 39 games for Luciano Spalletti’s team. Under the tutelage of newly-appointed Napoli manager Rudi Garcia, Osimhen has now scored three goals in three games for the Serie A champions.
The former Lille forward has been linked with a move to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. According to reports, the PIF-funded group offered Napoli a total package totaling €200 million for Osimhen. According to the site, Al-Hilal’s salary offering of €40 million per year made Osimhen reconsider joining Saudi Arabia.
De Laurentiis, on the other hand, would never have let his striker leave for €200 million. According to L’Equipe, the Napoli president stated in an email to Al-Hilal’s agents, “Your bid can only buy one of Osimhen’s feet.” For next year, I anticipate you to be able to table €500 million, and maybe we’ll consider your offer, but again,’maybe’.”
