Nepal women get victorious over Malaysia women to take a 2-1 series lead.

Nepal national women’s cricket team defeated the Malaysia national women’s cricket team in the third match of the five-match T20I series. Team Nepal won the match by 27 runs at the YSD UKM OVAL and currently leads the series 2-1 after losing the opening match.

In a total of twenty overs, Malaysia, pursuing a 111-run total, fell to 83/4. Mahirah Izzati Ismail scored 44 runs but couldn’t get her team over the line due to a lack of help from other hitters. She had six home runs in a 54-ball inning. Winifred Anne Duraisingam scored 20 runs off 38 balls.

Indu Barma (3-0-7-1), Kabita Kunwar (4-0-10-1) and Sita Rana Magar (2-0-13-1) all took one wicket for Nepal.

After losing the toss, Nepal women were put in to bat. Nepal reached 110/5 thanks to a late-innings scorching knock from Rubina Chhetri. She hit 15-ball 27, three fours, and one six. Jyoti Pandey had 23 points, while Sita Rana Magar and Indu Barma had 21 and 20, respectively.

Nik Nur Atiela is a Muslim. Nik Din claimed two wickets for Malaysia. Aisya Eleesa Firdauz and Winifred Anne Duraisingam each took home one scalp.

Malaysia began the series with a five-wicket victory against Nepal. Similarly, Nepal won the second match by a seven-wicket margin.
