Neymar to undergo Medical Test for Al-Hilal Move

Neymar will have his medical in the next hours before joining Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal for €90 million.

Neymar’s time at Paris Saint-Germain is drawing to a close. The Brazilian international joined the club from Barcelona in 2017 for a world-record sum and has since made 173 appearances for Les Parisiens. During that period, he has scored 118 goals and assisted on another 77.

It was expected that Luis Enrique’s arrival would help Neymar rediscover his greatest form, but just days before the start of their Ligue 1 title defense, Luis Enrique and Luis Campos notified the Brazilian that he was surplus to requirements and should find a new club.

On Sunday, L’Équipe reported that Neymar had agreed to join Al Hilal, and on Monday, the journal stated that the two clubs had reached an agreement. According to Foot Mercato, the former Barcelona forward will have his medical in the coming hours. The player is anticipated to be in Riyadh later this week to finalize the trade. According to Le Parisien, the trade is valued approximately €90 million, and the player will make approximately €100 million every year.

Neymar agrees two-year deal to join Saudi Side Al-Hilal from PSG

Neymar has reportedly decided to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal on a two-year contract after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian forward has been heavily linked with a move away from Parc des Princes, with Barcelona in the race to re-sign him before Saudi Arabia emerged as the most likely destination. Negotiations are claimed to be progressed, with only personal terms remaining to be agreed upon.

Neymar will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and sign a two-year contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.

A return to Barcelona for the Brazilian was hotly in rumor. It now seems he will join a long list of famous people who have moved to Saudi Arabia.

Neymar joined PSG in 2017 for a record-breaking €222 million transfer fee. He was left out of the team for the season-opening 0-0 draw with Lorient.

PSG are expecting to recuperate roughly €80 million from the sale of the 31-year-old, who is thought to be close to a personal agreement on his current move.

Neymar has had a lot of success since joining PSG from Barcelona six years ago. He has 118 goals and 77 assists in 173 games with the French club.

During that period, he also helped the team win five Ligue 1 crowns and three Coupe de France titles. But he did not win another UEFA Champions League.

It seems like the new manager, Luis Enrique chose the younger, happier players.

Lionel Messi left earlier this summer for Inter Miami. Kylian Mbappe’s long-term destiny appears to be elsewhere from the Parc des Princes.

Al-Hilal had already acquired Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly, but Neymar would be the club’s most expensive acquisition.
