Olympiacos won the semifinal tie 6-2 on aggregate against the English Club.
Olympiacos Piraeus striker Ayoub El Kaabi scored twice as the Greek side advanced to the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina with a 2-0 home win over Aston Villa on Thursday, giving them a 6-2 aggregate triumph.
Villa started strongly, but El Kaabi, who scored a hat-trick in the first leg, broke the deadlock in the tenth minute when Daniel Podence sent the ball down the line for fullback Quini, who found the Moroccan at the far post for a simple finish.
The visitors dominated possession in the first half, with winger Leon Bailey going closest to equalizing with a blazing attempt in first-half stoppage time that Konstantinos Tzolakis saved for a corner.
The second half was more of the same, with Villa, looking to reach a European final for the first time since 1982, dominating possession but struggling to generate chances as the Olympiacos defence crowded Unai Emery’s side out.
