Paris SG have no plans to let go of their new all-time leading scorer Kylian Mbappe anytime soon. Last May, France’s 2018 World Cup champion signed a two-year deal, tying him to the club until 2024. But, the contract renewal contains a one-year extension option that would need mutual approval. Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint Germain nor Mbappé are eager to use the option for an additional year.
Nevertheless, Paris Saint-Germain are not studying the idea of a sale for their prized asset when the forthcoming transfer window will open, even if Mbappé was to put in a transfer request.
Paris Saint Germain is ready to let things out, just like they did in 2021 when they rejected Real Madrid’s attempts and offers around €200 million. Regardless of his price, the Paris SG board is rumored to believe that Mbappé’s exit cannot be discussed or negotiated.
