Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang desires Barca's return

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, currently the Chelsea FC’s foward has stated his desire to return to Barcelona.

Mundo Deportivo has released a video in which the Gabonese star selects Camp Nou as his next destination.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined Barcelona from Arsenal in the second half of last season. That move, as a result proved a steal after he delivered.

The international player from Gabon got the driving force behind Xavi’s incredible run. He was leading Barcelona to a second-place finish in La Liga while quickly winning over the support of the crowd.

Aubameyang joined Chelsea after becoming unnecessary after Robert Lewandowski joined the team.

After a disappointing season, the 33-year-old will likely to leave the team this summer.

Aubameyang has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in a turbulent season marked by several managerial changes, appearing in only 15 Premier League games.

Despite having a contract with the Blues until 2024, the former Borussia Dortmund star is said to want to terminate it in order to facilitate a move to Barcelona.

Barcelona is also showing their interest in reuniting with Aubameyang, with their current financial difficulties making him an ideal signing.

His transfer, however, is contingent on Barcelona’s ability to overcome financial fair play restrictions. The Catalan titans also want him to take a pay cut.

The Blaugrana are looking for attacking reinforcements, with Vitor Roque and Lionel Messi top targets.

Messi’s situation appears complicated, as Barcelona is still unsure whether La Liga will allow them to re-sign him in the midst of their financial crisis.

Roque is a more realistic target, and Barcelona is one of the favorites to sign the Brazilian teenager.
