PSG is looking to get rid of Neymar.
According to Le Parisien, citing a source close to the matter, PSG are willing to release the Brazilian for free in order to avoid having to pay him 36 million euros each year. The club’s administration does not want a player with such a negative reputation on the squad.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Bowley and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi are said to have discussed a prospective deal for Neymar.
Neymar’s contract with PSG expires in 2027. It was previously stated that the Parisians intend to trade the 31-year-old footballer this summer.
