Rastriya Banijya Bank is giving a cash prize for Nepal’s ACC Premier Cup-winning team.
Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has announced that each player of Nepal’s ACC Premier Cup-winning squad would get a cash reward of one lakh rupees. The bank announced intentions to provide each of the 18 ACC Premier Cup competitors (plus four reserves). The bank will provide a financial incentive of one lakh rupees. Additionally, Monty Desai, the head coach, and the other responsible officials will each receive 50,000 rupees in compensation.
Nepal defeated UAE in the last match of the ACC Premier Cup, clinching their berth in the 2018 Asia Cup. Despite a weather delay, Nepal won the match by seven wickets on the last day. As a consequence, Nepal will now participate in the same group as India and Pakistan during the Asia Cup, which will be held in September.
Prime Minister Prachanda previously said that each participant will earn a financial award of six lakhs, while each official will receive a reward of three lakhs.
