Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 3-2 in El Clasico, thanks to a stoppage-time goal from Jude Bellingham.

Andreas Christensen gave Barcelona an early lead in the 6th minute. However, Vinicius Junior held his nerve from the penalty spot to level the game before the 20th minute.

One of the game’s most memorable moments occurred in the 33rd minute, when referees determined that Lamine Yamal’s effort had failed to cross the line.

Barcelona swiftly lost their lead as Fermin Lopez restored it, thanks to Lucas Vazquez’s second goal of the season.

With time running out, Bellingham stepped up to score a stoppage-time winner against Barcelona for the second straight season.

The victory puts Carlo Ancelotti’s team closer to winning the league crown, with Los Blancos currently leading their Clasico rivals by 11 points heading into the last six games.

Real Madrdid 1-1 Barcelona | Vinicius cancels out Christensen in the 1st Half

Following their midweek Champions League loss, the Calatan giants couldn’t have asked for a greater comeback, taking the lead early on through Christensen.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin was caught beneath a deep corner, allowing Christensen to tip in from close range.

Barcelona eventually gave Real Madrid the opportunity to equalize in the 18th minute when Pau Cubarsi was punished for fouling Vazquez in the box.

Vinicius went up and converted his penalty past Marc-Andre ter Stegen for his 13th La Liga goal of the season.

After being pegged back by their opponents, Barcelona felt they had regained the lead when Yamal glanced a corner towards goal.

With no goalline technology in LaLiga, it was up to the VAR room to decide if Yamal’s effort crossed the line.

Following several inconclusive replays, the authorities chose not to award a goal, much to the hosts’ relief and the visitors’ frustration.

Barcelona suffered further heartbreak as a clearly distraught Frenkie de Jong was stretchered out on the stroke of half-time.

Real Madrid fights back again

After going into the break equal, the two teams took a cautious approach to the second half until the game resumed in the 69th minute when Barcelona retook the lead.

Yamal’s dangerous ball into the area was deflected into the path of Fermin, who slid it home for his fourth league goal of the season.

Similar to the first half, Real Madrid responded defiantly to restore parity only three minutes after Fermin scored.

Vinicius’ driving cross made its way to the far post, where Vazquez sent a calm finish beyond the hapless Ter Stegen.

Vinicius appeared destined to give his team the lead after he raced through on goal, only to see Ter Stegen save his shot at the near post.

Bellingham sends Bernabeu into raptures.
While a point might have sufficed, Real Madrid ended the evening with three points because to Bellingham’s 17th league goal of the season.

The England international scored the winner in the opposite fixture and repeated it in the opening minute of stoppage time.

Bellingham came at the back post to meet Vazquez’s low cross and fire the ball into the roof of the net, securing the victory and condemning Xavi to loss in his final Clasico before departing Barcelona at the conclusion of the season.

As a result of the victory, Real Madrid is on the verge of winning the league title for the third time in five years.

Meanwhile, the incumbent champions will focus their efforts on earning second place, with Girona just two points behind in third place.

Real Madrid will travel to San Sebastian next weekend to face Real Sociedad, while Barcelona will host Valencia on April 29.
