Toulouse FC of Ligue 1 has scored goals more frequently than any other team in the top five European leagues since the new year. Montanier, the former Nottingham Forest manager, did not get over away, reminding reporters that Toulouse defeated fifth-tier Lannion 7-1 in a Coupe de France clash earlier this year. “We could have Europe’s finest offense in 2023, but Bayern don’t play Lannion,” he told France Bleu Occitanie.
