Trevoh Chalobah singed contract till 2028
Chelsea have confirmed the centre-back Trevoh Chalobah has signed a new deal with the club, committing his future to the Blues until 2028.
The academy graduate had a great season under Thomas Tuchel last year and has been a key player of Chelsea’s starting lineup this year.
Chalobah has started eight Premier League games this season, including the last seven before the World Cup break, and his strong play has earned him a new contract that runs until 2028 with the option to extend for another year.
“I’m delighted to sign this contract. Every time I put on the shirt, I feel honored. I want to give my all and do whatever for this club “Chalobah stated.
“As everyone knows, I’ve been here since I was a child, and staying here is every child’s dream. I’ll give my all for the club whenever the opportunity arises, and I’m excited about the future.
“I’d like to thank God for this because none of this would be possible without Him. And always believing. Thank you to my family and the club for believing in me. I will now continue to give my all.”
Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly and co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali added: “We are overjoyed that Trevoh will be staying with Chelsea longer. He has been with us since he was a child and has developed into an outstanding young player.
