UFC and LaLiga Join Forces to Promote Their Sports to Fans Around the World

LaLiga North America and the UFC, the world’s premier MMA organization, announced a promotional partnership on Wednesday. The major goal is to engage fans across both sports through social medias, on-site coverage, digital content, athlete activations, etc.

This collaboration stems from a successful first collaboration between LaLiga North America and UFC at the start of LaLiga’s 2022/23 season with UFC fighters Brandon Moreno and Ilia Topuria.

The two superstars traveled to Spain to attend a LaLiga match. They meet with Valencia CF and Atlético de Madrid players. And they create content for distribution across league, club, and player platforms.

The new partnership will continue collaborations involving athletes from both sports. Each year, they will organize at least three events in Spain involving athletes and LaLiga clubs. The events will promote LaLiga, its teams, and players among UFC fans.

In exchange, the partners will incorporate players and ambassadors into existing digital shows. The shows like; UFC Unfiltered and Entre Asaltos podcasts, the Fuera del Octagono Facebook show, and Area de Combate on Twitter Spaces.

La Liga North America will create social content around UFC Fight Weeks to raise UFC awareness among the passionate soccer community.

There will be pre- and postfight coverage, tune-in messaging for UFC events, messages from LaLiga players supporting various UFC fighters. Also, they will include recap content after fights. As well as storytelling about certain UFC fighters connected to their travels to Spain.
