Virat Kohli pays tribute to the GOAT, Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest footballers of all time, hinted at retiring from international football following Portugal’s elimination from the FIFA World Cup 2022 following a quarter-final defeat to Morocco.
While Ronaldo has not stated whether or not he will play for Portugal again, he has left the situation open to interpretation. Virat Kohli, one of Ronaldo’s biggest fans, poured his heart out in a beautiful post paying tribute to the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo.

Following Portugal’s elimination from the Qatar World Cup on Sunday, Ronaldo stated that “his dream was over.”
“Winning a World Cup for Portugal was the biggest and most ambitious dream of my career; fortunately, I won many titles of international dimension, including for Portugal,” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram.
Ronaldo did not even play in Portugal’s final two FIFA World Cup matches. He was benched against Switzerland in the Round of 16 and Morocco in the quarterfinals. He has now left his fate in the hands of ‘time,’ hoping for it to be a ‘good counsellor.’
“Let us hope that time will be a good counsellor and allow everyone to draw their own conclusions,” he added.
Additionally, it should be noted that Ronaldo is currently without a club after Manchester United terminated his contract.
