The 17-year-old midfielder has established himself as a regular this season under coach Luis Enrique. He has appeared in 29 games, scoring three goals and providing six assists. Zaire-Emery made his French national team debut in November, scoring his first goal in a 14-0 win over Gibraltar. Unfortunately, he was injured in the first half and replaced.

Long regarded as a future superstar, Zaire-Emery’s progress has been tracked by the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund, but PSG are overjoyed with him, and 90min understands they are already well on their way to a new long-term contract that will make him one of Europe’s highest-paid teenagers.

According to sources, Zaire-Emery is very pleased with his progress at the club and has showed no desire to pursue outside interest, instead focusing on PSG and France as he seeks a berth in Didier Deschamps’ Euro 2024 squad.

Thierry Henry recently selected Zaire-Emery to be the Under-21 captain. However, a lot of people think he has a good chance of joining Deschamps’ team before the summer of 2020.

Current PSG manager Luis Enrique has placed a lot of trust in Zaire-Emery since his arrival. As a result, he is not impatient with the player.

“Warren could be 37 years old rather than 17, I am so lucky to get here and have a player of his quality,” he remarked.

“He is an excellent model of a player who comes out of the academy and what you should be like. He is humble, hardworking, and very brilliant.
