AC Milan is attempting to extend the contract of French fullback Theo Hernandez.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri intend to offer the player a three-year contract extension with a considerable price increase: the new agreement would pay the footballer €4.5 million per season, including performance bonuses.
However, Milan’s terms notably trail behind Bayern Munich’s proposal. The Bavarian club is willing to give the talented defender €8-10 million per year.
The Frenchman‘s current deal with the club expires after two years. Hernandez has five goals and ten assists in 38 matches this season for the Rossoneri. Previously, Hernandez became the club’s second-highest scoring defender, after only the legendary Paolo Maldini.
Earlier reports stated that AC Milan is eager to sell their goalie, but only for a high price.
