Al Ahli are interested in signing Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City.
According to The Athletic, the Saudi club is willing to pay Man City 30 million pounds (about 35 million euros) for Mahrez. The football player just received a contract for more than 25 million pounds (almost 30 million euros) annually.
Mahrez has not yet determined where he will continue his career. He may either agree to a move to a Saudi club or stay at Man City.
The 32-year-old Mahrez’s contract will come to an end in two years. While £30 million is a hefty fee, Man City are hesitant to let him go.

Al-Ahli are interested in signing Mahrez. They believe he will become the team’s key star.
This summer, Al Ahly have already signed Edouard Mendy from Chelsea and Roberto Firmino from Liverpool.
Mahrez had 15 goals and 13 assists in 47 appearances for Manchester City last season.
According to Foot Mercato, Manchester City and Algeria winger Riyad Mahrez (32) is poised to get a contract offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli for a three-year agreement. Foot Mercato writer Hanif Ben Berkane, on the other hand, dismisses allegations that the contract is for €100 million.
According to reports, Al Ahli Jeddah has selected Mahrez as a significant goal. The team, who just won the Saudi Arabian second division title, will return to the top level next season.
Although Mahrez did not play in the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan, the 32-year-old has already won the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League with Manchester City this season. Mahrez has established his value and continues to flourish despite intense competition at his position, with 15 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.
Manchester City extended Mahrez’s deal through 2025 last season, and the club seems expected to keep him.
