Barca is ready to sell Torres in low Price.
FC Barcelona defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ferran Torres. Pedri, the attacker’s teammate, immediately praised him for his goal.
Despite his goal, Ferran Torres does not appear to have a future at Barca. Since his arrival, he is a contentious player in Catalonia, largely because Barcelona paid €55 million for his services.
It is fair to say that Torres has not lived up to his price tag. With only four goals in La Liga this season, the productivity he was supposed to provide has been lacking. As a result, Barcelona is considering selling him this summer.
According to Javi Miguel, the Catalans are willing to sell Ferran Torres for a fee of around €25 million. The club is aware that they will not be able to recoup the €55 million spent on the player. FC Barcelona are willing to accept a loss.
Barcelona admits that asking for more than €25 million is unrealistic. However, the attacker’s value may rise if he continues to score crucial goals, as he did against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
Barca wants to sell Torres
Ferran has an excellent chance of increasing his value in the summer transfer window with eight games remaining.
The former Manchester City forward has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, while Inter Milan may be interested in signing some of Barça’s out-of-favour players at the end of the season.
Torres’ sale could provide Barcelona with much-needed revenue as they look to reduce their salary burden while also pursuing new players in the summer transfer window.
In the winter of 2022, Torres transferred from Manchester City to the Catalan club for 55 million euros. The Blaugrana are now prepared to accept a 25 million euro transfer offer for the player.
This La Liga season, Torres has made 27 appearances and contributed 4 goals and 1 assist.
