Chennai Super Kings won the IPL championship 2023 when Ravindra Jadeja shone in a dramatic final against Gujarat Titans. He made history for CSK by hitting a six and a four off the final two balls. Following Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings became the second team with five IPL championships.

In a gripping final versus Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad early on Tuesday, Ravindra Jadeja struck the final two balls for six and four, giving Chennai Super Kings a record-tying fifth IPL championship. Rain cut short the 2023 Indian Premier League final, but CSK and GT still gave fans a championship match to remember.

In what is mostly considered to be the best IPL season, CSK needed 13 runs off the last over. With the wickets of Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni, Mohit Sharma, who was outstanding for the Titans all season, broke the Super Kings’ pursuit. However, Ravindra Jadeja kept cool and delivered two of the most significant runs in CSK history to secure their sixth IPL triumph.

After a lackluster season in 2022, the Super Kings made history by winning their fifth IPL title in 2023.
