Declan Rice suffers back suffers back injury

Declan Rice was taken from the north London derby at halftime due to back discomfort, according to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

The contest against Tottenham ended in a 2-2 draw, but it will be Spurs who come away the happier of the two sides. From Arteta’s perspective, the main source of concern will be Rice’s fitness.

When asked if Rice would face time on the sidelines, he replied, “Hopefully not.” We have to evaluate him since it’s unusual for a guy like him to request a substitution because he wasn’t feeling well, so hopefully not, but let’s see.”

During the match, Arsenal experienced a disappointing result against their north London rivals. However, the two goals conceded were arguably their fault. Things got off to a good start for the hosts as Bukayo Saka’s effort bounced off Cristian Romero and into the back of the net.

David Raya then made a spectacular save to deny Brennan Johnson his first goal for Tottenham, but he couldn’t stop Heung-Min Son’s equalizer. South Korean international snuck inside the penalty box to convert from James Maddison’s cut-back.

Fabio Vieira and Rice were both taken out of the game at halftime, with the latter emerging with his left calf bandaged.

Arsenal were back in front five minutes after the restart. Thanks to a Saka penalty after Romero handled the ball inside the area.

28 seconds after Goads kicked off as a result of falling behind, they were level once once more. Jorginho had his stash picked by Maddison, who at that point calmly sent Child through on objective and he made no botch, indenting his moment of the diversion. Arteta might scarcely observe as the guests balanced once once more.

In the midst of all the feeling and conclusion to conclusion show that came with this specific north London derby, both sides come absent from the clash in an indistinguishable position to the one they begun in.

Both are level on focus, having both won four and drawn two from their opening six recreations.
