Bayern Munich 'will be active' during the Winter Transfer Window

According to reports, the club’s priority will be to sign a defensive midfielder and, if feasible, a right-back.

Thomas Tuchel and sports director Christoph Freund are in daily contact and are planning how to best prepare the group for the key portion of the season, which begins in the spring.

Bayern Munich is still seeking for ‘GOOD MIDFIELDER’

Bayern Munich has already made a few moves (midfielder Konrad Laimer, outside-back/midfielder Raphael Guerreiro) and may be closing in on at least one more (center-back Kim Min-jae), but according to Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl, this will not be a window where the club gets all of its business done early.

In reality, the Bavarians may be willing to sell players until the end of the summer open period. While we’ve heard about a number of players who could be on the market, one player in particular could wait as long as possible before making a move – Leon Goretzka.

Goretzka may use the summer to learn more about what Thomas Tuchel has in store for him. If the Germany international does not like what he sees, he may request a transfer:

Bayern Munich expects late decisions on player sales this summer. Only during pre-season will it be clear how important the players are to Tuchel. Whether they will consider leaving if their role is not sufficient.

One of the players involved is Leon Goretzka. Although he wishes to stay, there has been rumors that he may leave the club. Training impressions and meetings with Thomas Tuchel beginning July 13th will determine whether or not the coach plans to work with Goretzka.

While no other names were included in the report, it can be inferred that a few other players are in the same situation as Goretzka.

If this is the case, club officials will be putting a lot of effort. They will determine on how to best get ready for the variety of changes that might take place.
